Landscaping WordPress Themes: The Landscaper vs Gardena vs Greenova

Compare The Landscaper, Gardena and Greenova WordPress themes for landscape projects, service pages, estimate forms, builders and ownership costs.

A miniature garden with curved mint planting beds, three teal trees, a trowel and an abstract folded plan.

A landscaping company often wins an enquiry by explaining work that a photograph alone cannot show: the site conditions, the service area and what changed between the brief and the finished garden. The Landscaper, Gardena and Greenova are WordPress themes aimed at this kind of service business. Their useful differences concern how projects, services and enquiry tools are maintained after the demo content is gone.

This comparison covers QreativeThemes’ The Landscaper, BoldThemes’ Gardena and RadiusTheme’s Greenova. We reviewed official sources on October 16, 2026. No production themes were installed and no lead-generation or performance results were measured. The featured image is an AI garden illustration, not evidence of a vendor interface or a completed client project.

Build the project-to-enquiry route

A project page should help a visitor recognize a similar problem and decide whether to contact you. Choose the fields your team can supply reliably: service type, broad location, scope and an explanation of the work. Avoid turning a gallery into an unsupported promise about price or timescale. An estimate form should gather enough context for the next conversation without pretending to replace a site visit.

WordPress theme Editing approach Observed marketplace price Main consideration
The Landscaper Elementor, Customizer and project galleries Regular License: US$59 Visual project publishing and Toolkit ownership
Gardena Bold Builder and included Cost Calculator Regular License: US$69 Maintain estimate assumptions separately from layouts
Greenova Builder-led services, teams and portfolio layouts Regular License: US$49 Confirm the builder and demo package

These are US-dollar ThemeForest observations before tax and handling, not claims about every available sales channel. No same-vendor free edition was established. The WordPress directory’s similarly named Landscaper is by Risingthemes and is not a free version of QreativeThemes’ The Landscaper.

The Landscaper

The Landscaper describes Elementor editing, live Customizer controls, project galleries, a one-click importer and WooCommerce support. It is a reasonable starting point when the website’s main job is to connect service pages with visual examples of completed work. The project explanation should remain readable even when a visitor skips the gallery.

The changelog separately names The Landscaper Toolkit, Advanced Custom Fields Pro, Booked and Essential Grid updates. Treat that as evidence of a component stack to review, not an instruction to enable every plugin. Ask which components are required for your selected layout and which provide optional gallery, booking or custom-field features.

Its strength is a familiar Elementor-based route to project presentation. Its limitation is the distinction between editing the page and editing structured project data. Decide who supplies project details, who selects photographs and who checks that the enquiry destination is correct. A visual builder does not remove that editorial responsibility.

For a prospective implementation, use one small maintenance project and one full redesign. Check whether the same project structure explains both without forcing every page into a long photographic story. Also ask how project records export if the site later changes theme. The source review does not establish that specialized templates will remain visible after a theme switch.

Gardena

Gardena by BoldThemes combines landscaping and gardening layouts with Bold Builder and an included Cost Calculator. The listing names a demo importer and compatibility with WooCommerce, Contact Form 7 and WPML. This package is relevant when an enquiry can be improved by collecting structured information about a proposed job.

The Bold Builder documentation describes its own editing system. That differs from choosing Elementor merely because it is familiar elsewhere. Give the future maintainer time to assess the builder’s controls and the process for updating service pages. The Gardena manual is the product-specific starting point for setup and customization.

The calculator is a useful possibility, but the business owns its assumptions. A lawn-area input or service selector should not silently imply a binding estimate when access, waste removal, ground preparation or travel distance can change the work. Label the output according to what the business can actually promise and identify the next step for a detailed quote.

Gardena’s advantage is the combination of a consistent visual system and configurable enquiry-related tools. Its constraint is the need to maintain calculator logic as well as page content. Ask who will revise rates, review unusual inputs and verify what is sent to the office. The theme does not establish that an estimate becomes a scheduled job or an accounting record.

Greenova

Greenova by RadiusTheme offers service, portfolio, case-study and team layouts. Its listing describes WPBakery and LayerSlider in the feature body, while the compatibility sidebar also lists Elementor. That is a reason to verify the chosen demo and builder package rather than assume that every layout is supplied for both editors.

The same page contains differing homepage counts in its feature list, importer description and changelog. We therefore do not use an exact starter-site count as a deciding advantage. Ask for the current importable layouts instead. Greenova Core and RT Framework appear in the update history, so the maintenance plan should include the companion components used by the selected design.

Its range of service and case-study presentation can suit a company that needs several ways to organize outdoor work. The limitation is package clarity. A list of possible layouts is useful only if your editor can identify the correct one and update it consistently. Avoid installing multiple builders merely to reproduce a preview without understanding which pages depend on each.

WooCommerce appears in the changelog through a layout fix, but that is narrower evidence than a detailed current shop compatibility matrix. If plant or equipment sales matter, request confirmation of the intended WooCommerce release and product templates. For a service-only company, keep the primary evaluation on project explanations and enquiries rather than optional shop features.

Licensing, compatibility and operating costs

These products use classic theme and builder workflows. Gutenberg compatibility, where advertised, does not establish FSE control of the site’s templates. If native block-based headers, footers and archive templates are required, compare that requirement with the WordPress Site Editor model before purchasing.

For marketplace procurement, review the single-end-product license and the support-extension quote. Available theme updates and active support are separate entitlements. We did not confirm fixed future renewal totals. Direct vendor packages can differ, and a bundled slider or calculator should not be treated as a separate standalone license unless the seller says so.

The continuing budget may include form delivery, maps, hosting, maintenance and any separately licensed scheduling or commerce extensions. Demo photographs are not automatically licensed for your business. Use your own authorized project material and keep captions factual. A small portfolio of well-explained work is more defensible than a large imported gallery that implies projects you did not complete.

Choose for the person updating the site

Shortlist The Landscaper for an Elementor-oriented project and gallery workflow with a clear Toolkit inventory. Choose Gardena when Bold Builder and configurable estimate forms suit the team, with someone assigned to calculator rules. Consider Greenova when its service and case-study layouts match the business after the current builder and shop support are confirmed.

Ask the future editor to outline how they would add a project, revise a service area and route an enquiry to the correct person. Those tasks expose maintenance requirements better than comparing demo counts. Our construction-theme comparison addresses contractor estimating and project handover, while the portfolio comparison covers a more general creative presentation need.
