A hotel website must turn interest into a reservation guests and staff can understand. Photography helps people imagine a stay, but availability, occupancy, seasonal rates, payment status, and confirmation emails determine whether the booking is dependable. Choosing a WordPress theme without understanding its reservation system can create an expensive redesign later.
Bellevue, Hotel Master, and Oceanica offer three hospitality-specific approaches. This comparison focuses on direct reservations for small hotels, guesthouses, and rental properties. It is based on official product and licensing sources checked on October 14, 2026. We have not installed these products, processed bookings, or measured their performance. Match the reservation model to your inventory
Write down what you sell: an individual apartment, several interchangeable rooms of one type, private rooms, or hostel beds. Record maximum guests, minimum stay, seasonal exceptions, taxes, and any compulsory extras. A theme demo can look appropriate while its booking model handles a different inventory structure. That mismatch should be resolved before choosing a design.
These products use traditional theme and booking-component workflows. Block-editor support does not establish native Full Site Editing for the whole site. Hotels that only need menu and opening-hours information can also review our restaurant theme comparison; this article addresses the additional responsibility of accommodation reservations.
| Theme | Useful direction | Editing and booking layer | Current cost boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bellevue | Flexible hotel and vacation-rental presentation | Elementor templates; bundled booking components | US$60 Regular License; verify exact included add-ons |
| Hotel Master | Rooms and hostel beds with specialist booking behavior | GoodLayers builder and reservation system | US$79 Regular License; iCal has an inventory restriction |
| Oceanica | Classic hotel presentation around MotoPress Hotel Booking | Customizer and block content; included booking plugin | US$89/year for one site; premium extensions separate |
Bellevue
Bellevue’s official listing shows US$60 and presents hotel, bed-and-breakfast, and vacation-rental layouts. It lists Elementor templates, a visual library, WooCommerce compatibility, and bundled booking functionality. The vendor’s setup guidance directs buyers to install and configure the Bellevue Hotel Booking Plugin. Treat that reservation setup as part of the project.
The strength is design variety for properties with different identities. A boutique guesthouse may want a narrative homepage, while a small hotel may need prominent room choices and a direct availability entry point. Use the demo closest to your actual property and reduce it to the information guests need: room type, occupancy, amenities, location, and clear booking terms.
The limitation is that the listing mixes older descriptions of demo counts and coming-soon layouts. We do not use an exact demo total as a purchasing argument. Similarly, references to included premium add-ons should be checked against the current downloadable package. Ask which booking component handles availability, which extensions are included, and how those bundled versions receive updates. WooCommerce compatibility does not automatically mean every reservation payment uses WooCommerce.
Bellevue fits an owner who wants substantial Elementor control and can invest in configuring the booking layer carefully. The vendor site says it can work with other booking plugins or services; that flexibility still requires confirmation for the particular service you intend to embed. If an external property-management system is authoritative, decide whether WordPress only presents its booking form or maintains separate availability.
Hotel Master
Hotel Master’s product page shows US$79 and documents a GoodLayers page builder, demo importer, seasonal rates, coupons, additional services, and hostel booking by bed. Those capabilities make the product worth considering when your inventory includes more than ordinary private hotel rooms.
Two explicit limits are especially relevant. Its documented iCal synchronization is available only when the room-amount setting is one; the listing says it is unavailable when each room type has multiple units. Also, WooCommerce styling support is separate from its reservation payments. The product explicitly says room payments do not use WooCommerce merely because the theme supports a shop.
The advantage is a specialist reservation model with clear examples of its inventory assumptions. The limitation is that those assumptions may rule it out for an operator who needs synchronized availability for multiple interchangeable rooms. Do not treat iCal support as an unrestricted channel-manager connection. Ask the vendor about your exact room structure before purchase, and obtain a written answer if external-channel synchronization is essential.
Hotel Master is appropriate when its room or bed workflow matches the property’s needs and the team accepts GoodLayers editing. A staff member should be able to explain how rooms are blocked, how extras change the total, and where booking status is recorded. Keep a separate requirement for any merchandise shop so its checkout cannot be confused with paying for accommodation.
Oceanica
Oceanica’s official page lists US$89 yearly for one site, US$199 yearly for up to twenty-five sites, and US$349 for a one-site lifetime plan. It includes MotoPress Hotel Booking and describes Customizer-based presentation, with block support recorded in its changelog. This is a classic hotel theme around a booking plugin, not evidence of an all-template Site Editor workflow.
The package advertises seasonal pricing, accommodation availability, taxes, extras, and payment handling. It explicitly separates premium extensions such as PDF invoices, payment requests, reviews, and WooCommerce payment gateways from the included theme purchase. An owner requiring one of those functions should price the extension rather than assuming it arrives with the US$89 plan.
That boundary is Oceanica’s practical strength: the booking system and optional extensions are identifiable. You can build a short list of essential functions and keep the initial setup focused. The tradeoff is that a complete operating workflow may cost more than the theme plan once you add the extensions required by your property. We have not confirmed every extension’s current checkout and renewal quote.
MotoPress’s terms describe annual services as automatically renewing unless canceled and define lifetime access subject to the company’s operation and package limitations. The annual amounts above are current listed prices, not a guarantee that future fees never change. Oceanica fits a property that wants the MotoPress booking ecosystem and is comfortable distinguishing annual support and updates from separately priced enhancements.
Licenses and the complete accommodation budget
Bellevue and Hotel Master use marketplace purchase licenses; Oceanica offers directly sold site-limited update and support plans. Their prices are therefore not directly comparable as annual totals. Marketplace Regular Licenses cover a single end product, and Envato’s terms should be checked against the exact business model. Theme updates, support extensions, and independent service subscriptions are different costs.
We have not confirmed account-specific marketplace support renewal quotes, so do not assume a fixed yearly renewal amount. Price payment processing, email delivery, channel or property-management services, any paid booking extensions, and routine maintenance. An external booking provider may be more consequential to the budget than a small difference in theme purchase price.
Also identify who owns each source of availability. If staff accept bookings by telephone, on an external platform, and through WordPress, document how those reservations reconcile. A calendar export or periodic iCal import is not automatically equivalent to a real-time inventory agreement. Get the selected provider’s synchronization behavior and conflict handling confirmed for your property.
What to evaluate before accepting guests
On private staging, review a stay crossing two seasons, a maximum-occupancy request, a required cleaning fee, and a date with no availability. Check whether the final total and cancellation policy are visible before payment. Inspect the guest’s confirmation and the staff notification separately; both should describe the same dates, guests, room, and amount.
Check mobile date selection and keyboard access rather than judging only the desktop hero. Ask what happens when payment fails, a reservation expires, staff change a booking, or an imported calendar is unavailable. Use sandbox payment facilities for your own validation instead of placing genuine transactions. These are proposed checks, not results we claim to have observed.
Choose the system your staff can maintain
Choose Bellevue for flexible Elementor-led hospitality presentation after verifying its current booking bundle. Choose Hotel Master when its room or bed model fits and the iCal limitation is acceptable. Choose Oceanica when you want a classic theme with a clearly identified MotoPress booking layer and an itemized extension budget. The best fit is the one whose reservation rules your staff can explain and maintain accurately.
